About Me
Since graduating in architecture from Bristol University I have worked in a variety of fields, including private practice, local authority and the Planning Inspectorate. Whilst in local authority I held the post of Conservation and Urban Planning Officer. Following this I worked for a national charity as a senior architect, and was subsequently employed by the Planning Inspectorate as a Planning Inspector. I have also worked hands-on in most of the building trades. My breadth of knowledge and experience means that I can offer you a practical approach to design, as well as expert guidance through the planning process, including, where necessary, the preparation and managing of planning appeals.
I have a long-standing interest in environmental matters and will bring a realistic environmental approach to your building project.
I can help you to realise what may be a once in a lifetime project. You will have a vital role to play, based on your own experience and ideas. My technical and design skills will provide you with a framework for evaluating your options to ensure that you achieve an appropriate solution at reasonable cost.
